The purpose of this document is to inform you about the general conditions applicable to the processing of reservations through the UNIVERSAL BEACH HOTELS Website (hereinafter "the Website").
On the Website, you will find information regarding room availability, rates, and services offered by the UNIVERSAL BEACH HOTELS chain. Reservations processed through the Website are formalized directly between the user and the operating company of the selected hotel, with CIA HOTELERA SANT JORDI, S.A., in its role as administrator of the online booking center, being unrelated to the legal relationship established between both parties as a result of this process.

The processing of reservations implies full and unconditional acceptance of the legal notice, the privacy policy, and these general conditions in their latest version. Therefore, we advise you to read these conditions before finalizing your reservation, each time you access our website, as the Website reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove any part of these conditions at any time.
LEGAL REGULATION
These general conditions are subject to the provisions of Law 7/1998, of April 13, on General Contracting Conditions; Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, approving the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws; Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, as well as all applicable tourism regulations, and, subsidiarily, the Civil Code and the Commercial Code.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The formalization of reservations through the Website is subject to the following clauses:
1. Declarations: The user declares:
a) To be of legal age and have full capacity to formalize the reservation, stating that they understand and comprehend all the conditions found on the Website.
b) That the data provided when making the reservation is true, complete, and accurate.
c) That they confirm the requested reservation, including the indicated dates, number of rooms, number of persons, chosen accommodation, and meal plan.
2. Website Access: Access to this Website is the user's responsibility.
3. Contracting of Products and Services through the Website:
3.1. The reservation includes the services detailed according to the booking conditions stipulated on the page from which the reservation is requested or formalized.
3.2. Accommodation providers, each within their respective obligations, will be responsible to the user for compliance with current regulations and the terms and conditions of sale of each contracted product or service. The user acknowledges that CIA HOTELERA SANT JORDI, S.A. assumes no obligation or liability for services not directly provided and, in particular, for any lack of truthfulness, incompleteness, lack of updating, and/or inaccuracies in data or information regarding offers, products or services, prices, features, and any other relevant data and information about the products and services offered through the Website by accommodation providers.
3.3. These general conditions must be accepted by you before formalizing the reservation. The contract may be validly formalized in any of the languages available on the Website.
4. The process of formalizing a reservation on the Website consists of four steps:
1. Availability: Search for dates, number of persons, and rooms.
2. Selection of meal plan, room type, and rate.
3. Reservation summary, collection of customer data, and, if applicable, payment via virtual POS.
4. Reservation confirmation
Once the reservation is made, the emails and logs generated by the operation will be stored. The customer will receive the reservation details by email, along with a number that will identify it (locator).
At each step of the reservation, any errors in data entry can be corrected using the "back" button of your browser. Additionally, the Reservation Confirmation will summarize the reservation details. If any errors are detected, customers should immediately request the necessary corrections by sending an email to: Central@universalhotels.es.
5. Price and Payment:
5.1. The conditions, price, and payment of the planned stay are expressly determined by the rate conditions included on the page where you make the reservation.
5.2. Promotions and offers will only be valid for as long as they remain accessible to service recipients.
5.3. The prices indicated on the Website are Public Sale Prices, including VAT. The transaction will be carried out in EUROS, regardless of the customer’s country of origin.
6. Cancellations/Modifications of Reservations and No-Show:
6.1. Subject to the conditions applicable according to the rate selected by the customer.
6.2. Any applicable charges will be made to the bank card provided in your reservation. You expressly consent to these charges to cover potential penalties for cancellations or no-shows.
6.3. Any modification or cancellation must be requested through the "Access" link available in the Reservation Confirmation.
6.4. Reservation modifications are subject to hotel availability.
7. Right of Withdrawal: Pursuant to Article 97.1.m) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, you are hereby informed that, in accordance with Article 103 l) of the aforementioned decree, you are not entitled to the right of withdrawal.
8. Notifications: All notifications, requirements, requests, and other communications related to these general conditions must be made via email or through the contact form available on the website.
9. Nullity of Clauses: If one or more clauses included in these general conditions are declared totally or partially null or ineffective, this will only affect said provision or the affected part, while the rest of the general conditions will remain valid, and the provision or the affected part will be considered as not included.
10. Acceptance: The request and formalization of the reservation necessarily imply that all these general conditions, considered an integral part of the reservation and supplemented by the rate conditions and applicable specific legislation, are expressly accepted by you.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction: This contract shall be governed by Spanish law, and for any dispute that may arise regarding its validity, execution, compliance, or termination, in whole or in part, the parties, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction they may be entitled to, expressly submit to the jurisdiction and competence of the Courts and Tribunals of Palma de Mallorca (Spain).
