Photography Contest #UniversalSummer24

Scope and duration

Universal Beach Hotels is conducting a photo contest on its corporate Instagram profile with the aim of promoting its social networks.
The contest period will begin on August 19, 2024, and end on September 30, 2024. The winner will be announced on social media before October 15, 2024.

Participation Conditions

Only those over 18 years old who meet these two requirements and all other conditions set out in these Rules can participate:

1) Publish a photo on their public Instagram profile taken within any of our hotels, sharing their best summer moment, mentioning @universalbeachhotels, adding the hashtag #UniversalSummer24 in the description, and following the corporate account of Universal Beach Hotels (@universalbeachhotels).

2) Submitting any photo to the contest implies the assumption of authorship by the participant; otherwise, they may be disqualified. Only one photo per participant will be considered.

The contest jury reserves the right to eliminate any photos with a derogatory or offensive tone or that do not adhere to the contest theme.

Contest Mechanics

The contest winners will be chosen by a jury composed of 4 people from different departments of Universal Beach Hotels. Each member will select 3 photos from all those who participated in the contest, awarding 10 points to their favorite, and 5 and 3 points to the second and third selected photos, respectively. The 3 photos with the highest scores will win.
Creativity, originality, and technique used will be evaluated.

Contest Prize

The contest winners will receive a prize according to their ranking.

The first prize is a 2-night stay for two people at one of our hotels (except Universal Grand León & Spa and Mar Suites Formentera by Universal Beach Hotels) with bed and breakfast included. The stay can be enjoyed between October 15, 2024, and June 30, 2025, and will be subject to the availability of the selected hotel.
The second prize is a Daypass at an Aqua SPA (at Universal Hotel Lido Park & Spa, Universal Hotel Aquamarin, or Universal Grand León & Spa + breakfast), which can be enjoyed before June 30, 2025, also subject to availability.
The third prize is a €100 credit to spend on a dinner or lunch at Joy Palace Mallorca, Aqua Beach Club, or Bàcora (in Grand León). Any amount exceeding €100 will be at the customer's expense. It must be used before June 30, 2025.
The prizes do not include transportation to the hotels or any other services.
If the winners do not accept the prizes, they cannot be exchanged for others or for cash.

Others

Participation in the contest implies acceptance of these rules and the transfer to Universal Beach Hotels of all copyright of the photos submitted to the contest, as well as the transfer of all image rights of the people appearing in them. Universal Beach Hotels reserves the right to use and publish any of the images submitted to the contest as advertising or communication material. Additionally, participation in the contest implies acceptance of the Privacy Policy of Universal Beach Hotels.
